Hi. We have a requirement to create Azure VM specifically in Netherlands. Creating in West Europe region will not suffice. Restricting access based on Network Security Group or Conditional Access does not fit in our requirement. The VM itself has to be based in Netherlands. We don't need a Windows Server. Windows 10/11 will suffice. Please guide if this is possible in Azure. Thank you.

    @Sowjanya Gopal

    The West Europe region is based in the Netherlands. There is no country specific region on the road map that I can see at this stage. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/explore/global-infrastructure/geographies/#overview

    To limit your VM and data to just West Europe, you will have to forgoe any services which perform cross-region replication to ensure business continuity as the paired region is North Europe. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/reliability/cross-region-replication-azure though you can use availability zones within the same region

    If this isn't an option, it may be worth considering an on-prem option using Azure Arc or an Azure Stack solution

    kind regards

    Alistair
