Report Builder v15.0.20073.0 says DAX queries are not supported; where do I find an older version?

MS Report Builder recently got an update to v15.0.20073.0 but every time I try to run a report it states that there is no query designer for the report, or that DAX queries are not supported. Why? I tried to change the version to the old one, but I can't find any prior versions online. I need help.

    Hi @Blair C

Older versions of Report Builder are hard to find.

From the What's New in SSRS page of the official documentation, "In Report Builder and SQL Server Data Tools, you can now create native DAX queries against supported SQL Server Analysis Services tabular data models."

For more details, you can check these links:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/what-s-new-in-sql-server-reporting-services-ssrs?view=sql-server-ver16#query-designer-support-for-dax-now-in-report-builder-and-sql-server-data-tools,

    https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/5865/sql-server-reporting-services-report-builder-with-dax-query-support/.

    Hope these can help you.

    Best regards,

    Aniya
