New Outlook (v. 16.75) cannot move emails to folders

I've just moved over from legacy Outlook to Outlook for Mac 16.75.2.

I have a number of folders for my existing clients. These appear in the 'On my Computer' section in the left hand column of Outlook.

In the new Outlook, when I receive an email I want to keep, I can't drag and drop it into an existing folder. I can however create new folders and drop them there but thats not convenient at all.

Also, I cant move my emails (1000's) from the existing folders to any other location.

Any ideas?

    Hi @Patrick Ramsden ,

    Thanks for your reply!

Based on my research, i found that "Move message to another folder" is available in the same account. So i'm afraid that it's the root reason that you cannot move the email to on my computer folder.
