Bing Maps API requests are not working, is there an outage?

We have many customers reporting Bing Maps API service is not working today.

The status on https://www.saashub.com/bing-map-api-status is up and down.

Is there an outage or problem?

    There was an availability issue, 20% loss in capacity, on the morning of August 9th but using proper retry logic and reconnecting the socket should have gotten your calls rerouted to an DC (Data Center) with higher availability.
