SQL database elastic pool for Dynamics 365 Business Central Application

We have a requirement to migrate Business Central application from WE region to UAE North region. Currently application is configured with Azure SQL single database DTU based model. We are planning to use Elastic pool for SQL database in our new region. So, we would like to know whether we can use Elastic pool with latest Business Central application.

My understanding is that you are looking to migrate your dynamics 365 business central application which is configured with Azure SQL Database single server to an elastic pool database.

You can use an Azure SQL Database Elastic Pool with the latest version of Business Central. To use an Elastic Pool with Business Central, you will need to create the Elastic Pool and then migrate your existing Azure SQL Database to the pool. You can then configure Business Central to use the Elastic Pool as its database.
