Set request meeting replies to be off by default?

Hi there,

I have an end user who sends out a lot of meeting requests and he doesn't want to receive all of the responses. I've tried to set mail rules in the past with varied success. I currently havea rule in place that marks meeting responses as read and moves them to a dedicated folder. This works on the outlook client, however it does not seem to apply 100% of the time to the user's mobile outlook (the app). I've done some tinkering around in custom templates to see if I could create a custom meeting with that option already disabled, but it doesn't seem to work.

My question: is there a way to have this turned option disabled by default (from everything I've read, there isn't, and to me it seems like a no brainer feature) and is making a custom meeting template that the end user can use going to be the best bet to achieve this goal, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks in advance for any help someone might be able to provide!

    Hi @Tyler Delaney

Based on my tests, setting up mail rules is a viable approach. Try creating a mail rule in the Outlook web app to check if there is the same problem. Note whether the rules you set meet the requirements included in the response. For example, if you set a rule as a subject or content that contains Meeting, the meeting is created with a specific title that satisfies the rule.
