Hello there,

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 on my PC,

my Pc is running an AMD Ryzen 5 3400g processor.

the issue is my system casually freezes and not seems to work, my audio stop playing, and no keyboard shortcut work until I restart the system using the physical button on my pc case.

I have viewed the Event View Of my system and this is the error that apparently caused my system to freeze :

SCEP Certificate enrollment initialization for <Removed> via <Removed> failed:

What I have already tried :

  • I have reinstalled the latest available Windows 11
  • I have tried to use the Insider program
  • I have updated my windows to the latest available updates
  • I have scanned for corrupted files
  • I have tried another motherboard !
  • I have tried reinstalling, installing the old versions, and uninstalling the AMD driver
  • I have tried to reset the graphic driver using ctrl + shift + alt + c

Any suggestion would be appreciated!

    Hello

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing system freezes on your PC running Windows 11 with an AMD Ryzen 5 3400g processor. The Event ID 86 error often appears when the Active Directory Certificate Services cannot use the provider specified in the registry for encryption keys. It is usually related to the TPM, BIOS, or corrupted Windows Updates or Drivers.

It seems like you have already tried many potential solutions to this issue, including reinstalling Windows 11, updating your drivers, and scanning for corrupted files. Here are some additional suggestions that may help you resolve this issue:

Check Minidump files: Minidump files contain the most important memory regions of crashed processes. You can check these files to see if they provide any insight into the cause of the system crashes.

System Restore to a point before the problem started: If you have a system restore point from before the issue started occurring, you can try restoring your system to that point to see if it resolves the issue.

Repair Windows OS using Installation Media: If all else fails, you can try repairing your Windows OS using installation media. This will attempt to fix any issues with your operating system without affecting your personal files.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue.
