    Hello

The error code 0x800706be is a Windows error code that is shown whenever a system file is having an issue. This error can be shown by other windows compatible software and driver vendors as well. This is a general error that points to a misconfigured or corrupt system file.

There are several methods you can try to fix this issue:

Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter: Press Start then click Settings (Gear icon) > Update and Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Under Get Up and Running, select Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter.

Make sure Windows Update and Background Intelligent Transfer services are available and running: Click Start, type services.msc in the Start Search text area, and then click services.msc in the programs list. Double-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service. If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK. If the status is Running, right-click then select Restart. Double-click Windows Update. If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK. If the status is Running, right-click then select Restart.

Run SFC and DISM to check for any system errors and corrupted files.

    Reset Windows Update Components.

If the issue still persists after trying these methods, you may want to consider performing an In-place Upgrade.
