OpenAI Models Not Available

Hello,

I got an email yesterday that GPT-4 is available to me after being on the waitlist. My deployment is US East, I see the following models:

So I decided to try US East 2 - Now, I see the GPT4 models, but I don't see "text-embedding-ada-002" or anything else similar that I can use:

Is there a way to either make GPT-4 available on my account for US East or the embedding models available in US East 2. That way I don't have to use 1 for X and the other for Y.

Please note that model availability depends on the regions.

Did you check the Model summary table and region availability already?

Is there a way to either make GPT-4 available on my account for US East or the embedding models available in US East 2. That way I don't have to use 1 for X and the other for Y.

Regarding GPT-4:

We are rolling out availability of new regions to customers gradually to ensure a smooth experience. In East US and France Central, customers with existing deployments of GPT-4 can create additional deployments of GPT-4 version 0613.

For customers new to GPT-4 on Azure OpenAI, please use one of the other available regions.

Regarding text-embedding-ada-002 model :

As mentioned, you need to use the any of the available regions to deploy the text-embedding-ada-002 model.

Currently due to high demand regions availability is limited. Hence, I suggest you to follow the model availability and try.
