The color-code feature in Microsoft Outlook has been discontinued since version 1.2023.727.100. This is because Microsoft decided to unify the color scheme across all of its Office applications. As a result, the color-code feature is no longer available in Outlook.
However, you can still use the theme colors in Outlook to customize the look and feel of your inbox. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click on the File tab.
- Click on Options.
- In the Outlook Options dialog box, click on the General tab.
- In the User Interface Options section, click on the Color Scheme drop-down list and select a color scheme.
- Click on the OK button to close the Outlook Options dialog box.
The color scheme you select will be applied to all of the elements in your Outlook inbox, including the folders, the ribbon, and the message list. You can also customize the color scheme by clicking on the Customize Colors button. This will open a dialog box where you can choose the colors for different elements of the user interface.
