There are two version of Microsoft Authenticator - one downloaded from Microsoft website and the other from PlayStore. How do I migrate data from the Microsoft website Authenticator to the Playstore Authenticator?

Lately some bank apps does not allow third party Apps such as Microsoft Authenticator downloaded from the Microsoft website.

I will need to reinstall the same app from the play store instead.

How do I migrate all current accounts over to the PlayStore version of Microsoft Authenticator

The device type will dictate where you download from. For an android device here

If you're switching devices, then backup restore may not work unless the devices are the same operating system. In this case turn off the two factor at service provider, install authenticator on new device, then reestablish two factor at service provider.

I‘ve seen the possibility to backup your MS Authenticator settings to your personal Microsoft account.

Maybe you can check if this option is available on your installed application.
