I want to cancel the Authenticator I just purchased, the program stinks!

In trying to get into Facebook I was told to get an Authenticator, so I chose Google Authenticator but now it appears, Authenticator is a Microsoft program and I had to set up a new account using the new Facebook email. However when I tried logging back into Facebook, no code was sent that worked. I keep getting an 8 digit code and Facebook wants SIX! This program stinks. I just paid $49.95 for a lifetime subscription. Life sentence is more like it. How do I cancel the subscription?

Microsoft Authenticator doesnt charge you anything to use it as MFA / 2FA verification.

Yes, you can use any authenticator like google or Microsoft for Facebook where to need to use code or Scan code to register yourself. You need to check who actually deducted that amount.

Bottomline: Authenticator are free to use.
