Good morning,

Is there a way to change membership type of a distribution list after it was created with membership type "Assigned". I want to reorganize old distributions memberships making them dynamic for faster assignment, without deleting them since they are inside of calendar meetings and inside of some enterprise notifications, etc.

If you are asking about Exchange (Exchange Online) Distribution groups, the answer is no, you cannot change their membership type after creation. You can however "copy" their membership and use it as a basis for creating a new group, Get-DistributionGroupMember (and Get-DynamicDistributionGroupMember in the cloud) can help wtih that.
