Teams room not displaying shared screen

We have a conference room with a Teams Room for Windows. During a meeting this morning, 8 attendees were physically in the conference room, and another 8 connected remotely to the meeting from various locations around North America. User #1 wanted to share his screen with the group. He joined the meeting with his Windows 10 laptop. When he clicked Share Screen on his laptop, the front-of-room display went black and only displayed the list of users attending the meeting. His spreadsheet never displayed on the front-of-room display, however, all the other meeting participants that joined the meeting with their laptops could see the spreadsheet fine. So basically, User #1's screen would not share on the front-of-room display.

Has anyone experienced this? Is this a setting that I need to change on the Teams Room device itself to fix this?

I was having this exact issue and was hitting my head against the wall, nothing suggested online worked.

    But this did:

I logged into the PC-connected VC (we have a Crestron unit and logi camera connected to a NUC running Windows 10.)

Updated to semi semi-latest version of the Graphics driver, see below.

1)Navigate to Display Adapters > Intel® UHD Graphics 630 and double click, then move to the 'Driver' tab

    1. Click 'Update Driver' > 'Browse my computer and select 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
    2. Select version 31.xx.xxx.xxxx and click next to install. Once complete, confirm the driver version has been installed and reboot the UC-Engine.

After rebooting ( start > restart) > I was able to create a meeting > inviting the room and sharing screen which showed on both in the meeting room and online 👌🏽

So for the users experiencing the issue have them update their Display Adapter driver....check the website (Dell, HP, etc) for the latest release just in case your PC doesn't auto find it.

Disable Bluetooth beaconing on the meeting room device, either from the teams portal or from the device it self.

The device is detecting the user is close and within the meeting room and there is a current bug that causes this issue where the first user/organizer if the Pad joins before the users then this happens, you could also simply leave the meeting from the pad and rejoin again which fixes the issue for that meeting.

Teams Portal/Teams devices/teams rooms on windows/ click on the room with the issue/ edit settings/ devices/ uncheck Bluetooth beaconing and wait about 15 mins then reboot the device.

Or do it via the in room Pad, under edit settings and search through the menu.

Microsoft will tell you to Pin the user, unsure if they are fully aware of this issue but i have raised it and it is still happening.
