Is there a way to remove the white background in a list web part?

I created a list of jokes and formatted into the view shown below. Is there anyway to get rid of the white background (and there's a mini vertical scrollbar as well) and only display the blue tile? Is there also a way to remove the title of the list, in this case Jokes/Comics? I just want the site to look neater.

I saw that someone else got it to work and it looks so neat, but they don't show or tell how:

    Per my knowledge, there is no way to change the background color of the List Web Part. Actually, List Web Part has no background color, white is the background color of the site. You can change the background color of your sites by modifying the theme of the sites.

    You can use some of SharePoint's out-of-the-box themes through this article (Select a modern theme),

    or refer to this article (How to configure and apply a custom theme in SharePoint Online) to customize your theme.
