MESSAGEID    :00008018
MESSAGETEXT :The system failed to register host (A or AAAA) resource records (RRs) for network adapter
with settings:

           Adapter Name : {07593A8B-61B5-4771-85A0-C576B59E94A2}
           Host Name : SRH00FA002
           Primary Domain Suffix : srh.local
           DNS server list :
                 192.168.113.1, 192.168.113.2
           Sent update to server : <?>
           IP Address(es) :
             192.168.117.2

The reason the system could not register these RRs was because the DNS server contacted refused the update request. The reasons for this might be (a) you are not allowed to update the specified DNS domain name, or (b) because the DNS server authoritative for this name does not support the DNS dynamic update protocol.

To register the DNS host (A or AAAA) resource records using the specific DNS domain name and IP addresses for this adapter, contact your DNS server or network systems administrator.

    Hello

    Thank you for your question and reaching out.

    Please verify that the computer accounts for these servers are listed with Read, Write, and Special permissions on the Security tab of the corresponding A record. If not, reset the zone to secure, delete the A records, and then run ipconfig/registerdns again.

    Verify that the reverse lookup zone for record 192.168.252.1 has been created.

    Check the type of dynamic update, select "Nonsecure and Secure" specifically, and see if it can be done.

    You can attempt manually creating the PTR record in the reverse lookup zone if necessary.
