[Note] This thread was originally posted on MSDN. As the MSDN Exchange Dev forum mainly focuses on developing issues and the TechNet Exchange forums for general questions have been locked down, we manually migrated this one to Microsoft Q&A platform to continue the troubleshooting.

We have Exchange 2013 and would like to have a shared calendar that can be accessed on Iphones with full rights for the Iphone users to update the calendar - add, modify, etc. We have searched for ways to do this but the only ones we have found do not give the Iphone user the ability to create/edit/delete calendar items just view. We have not found any apps that enable this either. If somebody out here has this working we would be very happy to find the secret sauce. If there is some trickery workaround we are ok with that as long as it works well after the trickery. Please note we do not want any solution that ends up with the sharing going through a third-party - we have a high privacy/security mandate. An app is fine but not a service.

    Hi,
Based on my konwledge, without the help of third-party applications, Exchange and Outlook itself cannot enable users to create/edit/delete shared calendars on the iPhone.
You could put forward your suggestions in Outlook UserVoice.. A large part of the prioritization of the new features and enhancements of Outlook by the Outlook team comes from users' votes and feedback in Outlook UserVoice.
In addition, according to a blog, iPhone can share calendars through iCloud and its own Calendar application, and can invite multiple people to view and edit calendar events.Hope it helps you: How to Share a Calendar from Your iPhone or iPad
