Hi there,

I decided to customize the standard form for Sharepoint LIst in Power Apps. After I created this form and published it, I found that I could not share this form with other users. I can't understand why. If I create other forms (not from Sharepoint List, but just in Power apps), then there is no such problem. See screenshot - "Share" "Delete" "Edit" buttons are not available. At the same time, getting into the form from Sharepoint - the form is editable.

Thanks,

Are you the owner or co-owner of the Canvas App? Normally if you are the owner of the Canvas App, you could share the Canvas App with others.

Moreover, try to clear browser cache, go to another browser or use InPrivate window to share the Canvas App.

Yes, I am the owner of this form. This form is entered automatically from SharePoint when I click "Customize with Power Apps". Another interesting observation is that on a form with a list of all created forms, if you click update, my form disappears completely. I can't explain it, maybe it's due to the fact that the form is somehow linked to SharePoint. Tests in private mode and clearing the cache did not help.

I have done further test and here are some findings for you.

When you customize SharePoint form through "Customize with Power Apps", in the edit form page, click Share button in the upper right corner, it will show warning "No permission to the 'SharepointFormApp' application that has ID = 'b237016d-32dc-4a8c-b2d3-c1ef5ac633d2'." In addition, I also use owner account of the form.

In my opinion, due to this is a form integrated with SharePoint, which involves security and permissions of SharePoint, so it does not allow to share SharePoint form in the PowerApps.

You could grant Edit permission for users in the SharePoint, then users could edit SharePoint form.

Yes, the answer was helpful, thank you. Then the next question is: using Power Automate and the "Grant access to an item or folder" block in it, we provided access to a new row of the SharePoint list for a specific user. And he really sees a new line in SharePoint List. But when he tries to open it, he gets a message "This app isn’t opening correctly. It looks like you don’t have access to this app. Ask its owner to share it with you.". If he clicks on sends an access request, then the owner of the form (created in Power Apps) will not be able to do anything further, because his "Share" button does not work. We can't find the necessary rights in SharePoint to make everything work for us. Please tell me what can be done?

    Thanks,

    Maksim

Based on your post, I understand that you have a PowerApps form in the list and you set unique permission for the list item. The user has permission for the list item and can see the list item in the list but cannot open the PowerApps form for this item.

For the mechanism of SharePoint, users must have at least read permission for the entire list so that they can open the PowerApps form. It's by design.

Besides, if you find any answers helpful to you, please remember to accept them. It will help others who meet the similar question in this forum. Thank you.
