Procexp152.sys Driver cannot load due to security setting

Can anyone at Sysinternals please help? I am suddenly getting a Program Compatibility Assistant error which states, "A driver cannot load on this device" and points at the ProcExp152.sys driver, saying that a security setting has detected this driver as vulnerable and is blocking it from loading.

  1. I don't know why this error suddenly started showing up on my Windows 11 machine
  2. Upon searching, I found that others have been reporting the same exact error since late last year. But so far, I have not found a solution anywhere.
  3. I run Process Explorer in Admin mode and it is set to replace my task manager. Therefore, having this error pop up every time I restart my computer is annoying at minimum, but I worry whether it represents a deeper malaise somewhere.

    It has been nearly two months since I asked this question. The problem persists. With every reboot the same error message comes up. Is there really no one at Sysinternals who can help resolve this issue in a reasonable manner? I miss those days when Mark actively engaged with the Sysinternals users. Sigh.

    My previous version of "Process Explorer" was "16.32.0.0", and recently, I have been receiving this warning every time I run it;

    I downloaded the latest version "17.6.0.0" , and everything is normal;

    I don't know the reason, but it can be resolved by updating the version.
