Sign in to Azure Portal: Sign in to the Azure portal using your Microsoft account credentials.
Navigate to Storage Accounts: Once you're logged in, use the left-hand navigation menu to find and click on "Storage accounts."
Select the Storage Account: Choose the specific storage account you want to delete from the list of available storage accounts.
Access Settings: Inside the selected storage account, navigate to the "Settings" section in the left-hand menu.
Delete the Storage Account: Under the "Settings" section, select the "Overview" tab. In the toolbar at the top of the page, you should see a "Delete" option. Click on it.
Confirmation: Azure will ask you to confirm the deletion. You might need to enter the storage account name as confirmation. This step is important to prevent accidental deletions.
Delete Resources: Keep in mind that a storage account can contain various resources like containers, tables, queues, and files. Azure will show you a list of associated resources that will also be deleted along with the storage account. Review this list to understand the impact of the deletion.
Confirm Deletion: After reviewing the associated resources, confirm the deletion process. Azure will begin the process of deleting the storage account and its associated resources.
Wait for Deletion: The deletion process might take some time, depending on the amount of data and resources associated with the storage account.
Verification: Once the deletion process is complete, you'll receive a notification. Verify that the storage account and its associated resources are no longer visible in the Azure portal.
