Hello,
I need to restore a database in a remote desktop server that has the backup file stored in another remote desktop server. I have admin control over the main system and the other two remote desktops, but I am having difficulty in referencing the backup file. Can someone help me with this task?
I am mostly having trouble referencing the file path in the In the "Select backup devices" window. And \\ServerA\BackupShare\database_backup.bak is not working. I think is because I am calling the file from remote desktop

Thank you for your question and reaching out.
You need to have copy of the backup file on Destination server or should have enough shared folder access permissions so that Remote computer access the backup file to restore.
