To link my PC to my mobile device a verification code is offered on my PC to be entered into my mobile device. My mobile device key pad can only enter numbers and not letters, but the verification codes is a collection of both letters and numbers. Can you suggest an alternative way to link my PC to my mobile device.

Yes, there is an alternative way to link your PC to your mobile device without using a verification code. If you are using Microsoft Phone Link, you can pair your device manually by selecting the Pair manually button on your PC instead of scanning the QR code. On your Android device, you’ll be prompted to enter the code displayed on your PC.
Many thanks Wesley. I have now been able to connect my phone to my PC but Windows Phone Link still cannot connect with my phone.

The code has letters, but the app on the phone thinks it is a 9 digit code and so tells the keyboard to only show numbers. There is no way to change the keyboard to show letters, so I can't enter the code. Help!
Just the opposite, the problem could be fixed if it allowed scanning of the QR code. Now, asks you to enter the verification code but the mobile phone only shows the numeric keypad.

There isn't a pair manually button, i wonder why not but i was able to skip the code...
Thuis is the issue that we have, the code requires a combination of letters and numbers. We are incapable to enter the letters into our phone, as the app won't allow me to open the full keyboard (numericalonly), or even paste letters for that matter.
I have the same problem today.
