Hello 37821879
Downgrading an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster version is not supported.
AKS clusters are managed by Kubernetes Control Plane, which is responsible for managing the cluster nodes, scheduling pods, and maintaining the cluster state. The Control Plane is constantly being updated with new features and bug fixes. If you downgrade the cluster version, you will be missing out on these updates.
If you need to use a specific version of Kubernetes, you can create a new cluster with that version. You can also use a third-party tool to manage your Kubernetes cluster.
Here are some of the reasons why downgrading an AKS cluster version is not supported:
- It can lead to instability and security vulnerabilities.
- It can break your applications.
- It can require manual intervention to fix.
- It is not supported by Microsoft.
If you are considering downgrading an AKS cluster version, I recommend that you consult with a Microsoft Azure expert.
