Hi,

I must extract a root certificate from a Domain Controller to use in the Oracle Wallet for Oracle CMU.

The below command fails, is that because no PKI exists in the Forest?

C:\Windows\System32>certutil -ca.cert root.crt
Active Directory

    Hello TBMK (Tim Blohm Kühnell),

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Do you know what certificate should be used in the Oracle Wallet for Oracle CMU?

Did you install any root certidicate on Domain Controller in the past? You can check by signing in DC using domain Administrator account and opening certlm.msc, check if there is any root certificate under "Personal" containers.

If no, you can not export it.

If there is such certificate, you can also export it via GUI, right click this certificate\select All tasks\Export.

I think the important thing is you should confirm the correct certificate should be used in the Oracle Wallet for Oracle CMU.

Hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
