I have one laptop with 2 partition of disk (Disk C & D) . I would like to know is there a way for me to encrypt multiple disk at the same time? On my testing, only one disk can be encrypted at one time with BitLocker.

    Hello

Yes, BitLocker can encrypt multiple partitions on the same disk or on different disks. However, you will need to encrypt each partition separately. This means that you will need to go through the BitLocker setup process for each partition that you want to encrypt.

To encrypt a partition with BitLocker, follow these steps:

    1. Open the Control Panel and search for “BitLocker”.
    2. Click on “BitLocker Drive Encryption” to open the BitLocker Drive Encryption panel.
    3. Find the partition that you want to encrypt and click on “Turn on BitLocker”.
    4. Follow the prompts to set up BitLocker for the selected partition.

You can repeat this process for each partition that you want to encrypt. Note that the encryption process can take some time, depending on the size of the partition and the speed of your computer.

It is important to note that while you can encrypt multiple partitions at the same time, each partition will have its own encryption key and recovery key. Make sure to keep these keys in a safe place, as you will need them to access your encrypted data in case of an emergency.
