Hello,

I am unable to upload a Word file to a SharePoint list. The file size is approximately 180kb and contains text with a few screenshots. Whenever I attempt to upload the file, I receive the following error:

40bfd8f5-c324-4e2b-8cfe-9d80619b80f8

After performing multiple tests, I discovered the issue is with the file name. The original name of the file is: ABC Refresh Test TC_0748 Post S3 Batches.doc, and when I replace the word Batches from the file name with another word of the same length, the file uploads without any issues. I checked Microsoft's restrictions and limitations in OneDrive and SharePoint at the following link [

Restrictions and limitations in OneDrive and SharePoint - Microsoft Support](https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/restrictions-and-limitations-in-onedrive-and-sharepoint-64883a5d-228e-48f5-b3d2-eb39e07630fa), but could not find anything related to the word Batches. The file length is well within the limits.

I was able to rename the file and upload it without any issues. Is this a known issue? What changes should I implement to avoid it in the future?

Hi Hissein, Idriss, it is a pleasure to be able to help you.

I tested the issue in my environment, and the filename is upload able in my list.

So this issue may not be caused by the file name.

You could try creating a new list and adding attachments to it.
