Configuring Document Layout to Identify Tables

How can I configure the Document Layout tool to correctly identify tables? I am attaching a PDF file named Table not correct.pdf that is not being correctly identified by the tool.

@Schunk, Edward Are you referring to using the prebuilt-layout model using the document intelligence studio? Which version of the API are you using while running the analyze method?

Yes, I used the most recent version of the prebuilt-layout model.

@Schunk, Edward I think with this document format the extraction of table with layout model seems to be recognize the entire content in page 1 as a table. Page 2 seems to be as expected though. I think with this limitation you might have to create a custom model for extraction with this page format. Thanks!!

Thanks for you comment. I originally created a custom format (using more than 5 samples) and it did not work. Any other suggestions?

@Schunk, Edward You could use other prebuilt models like General document but they do not provide a table format similar to layout. I do not have additional suggestions if you have already tried out the custom model scenario. Thanks!!
