Missing Outlook emails in new Macbook

I've recently started using Outlook on a new Macbook. When I searched for an email, it cannot be found. But when I look on my old Macbook, I can find the email I want, and when I look for it in Macmail on my new Macbook I can find the email I want.

So it is definitely an Outlook problem.

It's a new email (July 23), it hasn't been deleted or archived.

Even when I look by date, I cannot find the email!

This is a real concern - it means I can't rely on Outlook at all.

TBH I've had no end of issues with Office365 on the new Mac (although I've used Macs for years and never previously had an issue).

Can someone explain the solution in non-tech way as I am not a techy.

To be clear, this isn't a 'Search' problem - the email I want isn't appearing in the list of sent emails when I sort them by date either.

In order to verify your issue, can you provide some detailed information:

Are you using New Outlook for Mac on your new Mac? And what's the detailed version of Outlook?

What type of account are you using?
