I'm stumped ,this normally a 5min job, not half a day ,Ive tried everything under the book to get this working , this clean infrastructure , normal prereq Global admin ect , powershell modules installed
- logged in Connect-MSOLService -credential $cred
- checked status (Get-MSOLCompanyInformation).DirectorySynchronizationEnabled = false
- try to enable Set-MsolDirSyncEnabled -EnableDirSync $true , receive error
WHAT HAS CHANGED? , normally I don't need to trouble this service , its not rock science

2023-08-20T05:14:04.0733333+00:00 Yeah Steve Im and MCT , MD-102 is screwed even tried a a 1.6 version of AD connect , even tried MD-101 same issue , my Microsoft labkit works , I don't know if the training host providers apart from disabling windows update , pushed a GPO , because the service account doesn't seem to have the permissions or its pulling the wrong authentication credentials , but as for official training its a show stopper..

In the same way when MS turned off groups from MSOL and broke Get-WindowsAutoPilotInfo, I think something has changed or an endpoint has been removed. I was surprised to see all AADC does is use the MSOnline module

M365x26411381.onmicrosoft.com]the domain withGet-MsolDomain , it still fails the bloody Set-MsolDirSyncEnabled -EnableDirsync $True, . it goto to be the commnds from the managed service account getting blocked , this is worrying got a job in 2 weeks and don't want to get them to cancel... lol
