button ''from picture'' is not listed as an option to install on the ribbon.

why is that? I use office 365 ; versionMicrosoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2302 Build 16.0.16130.20690) 32-bit.

Is this "Insert Pictures" button missing in your ribbon?

Can you successfully search "Insert Pictures" from the top search bar? You can go to File >> Options >> Customize Ribbon and add "Insert Picture" to your ribbon.
