    Some things to try;

    • sfc /scannow
    • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    • manual reset updates
    • repair install by running setup.exe from the root of install media
    • stand up a new one, patch fully, migrate roles over and move on.

    Hi @Kudukkantavida Moosa, Shakkeer

    We recommend that you try the following:

    1. Running Windows Update troubleshooter, please refer to:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-update-troubleshooter-19bc41ca-ad72-ae67-af3c-89ce169755dd
    2. To install the update manually, search for the specific patch number under this link to download and install: Microsoft Update Catalog
    3. Check that the BITS service is enabled and running. BITS stands for Background Intelligent Transfer Service, a service that helps Windows Update to transfer files in the background. If this service is disabled or not running, you may encounter Windows Update errors.

    Hope the information is helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
