BSOD - DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133)

Question

Hi everyone,

Posting this question as my PC is running into issues regarding constant freezing. After regular use.

The PC will freeze at a given state and not resume unless I do a hard power reset. After analyzing the logs a bit the error I managed to find was a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133).

I have no idea what is causing this issue and would appreciate some help.

Ps. I'm not the most tech savvy so bear with me, thanks.

Update all the drivers.

Faulty hardware components like RAM, hard drives, or SSDs can cause system errors. Run hardware diagnostic tests to identify any issues with your computer's hardware.

If you recently installed any software or drivers before encountering the error, uninstall them to see if the problem resolves.

Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:

sfc /scannow

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
