Teams on Windows doesn't work if laptop connected to internet using mobile phone hotspot. It cannot open the address teams.microsoft.com

  1. Teams app on Android is working fine on phone
  2. I can open any site and any app on Windows successfully (Outlook, etc..)
  3. Tried with different phones using different carriers, same problem
  4. Obviously, already rebooted laptop, phone, resetting hotspot, disabling firewall, etc..

    @Sitbon, David

    Could you visit the Teams web client via mobile hot spot with no issue?

    Based on your description, you could try the following possible solutions:

    1. Check the Windows Firewalls and Antivirus settings. Maybe Teams is not allowed access to the internet on both private and public networks.
    2. Clear cache of MS Teams app and try uninstall/reinstalling.
    3. Update All Essential Drivers.
    4. Reset Network Settings on Your PC.
    5. Try disabling any VPN or proxy settings on the laptop to see if this resolves the issue.
