wsus should not be downloading su. But keep in mind that your primary site will need a copy of the su and so will each dp.
SCCM I have a WSUS in my site server who sync with a upstream wsus server, both wsus have to download pacthes? it is not a waste of store space?
Hello thanks in advance, I have Endpoint CM 2002 instaled like primary site, also I have WSUS installed in my site server where I have implemented my SUP, the site server WSUS sync from an existent upstream WSUS. My question is, both WSUS's, the site server and the upstream have to download patches? it is not a waste of space to have patches downloaded in both servers, mi primary corcern it's because I don´t have enough free space on mi CM, How can I do to get only the Upstream WSUS download and distribute the patches?
Thank you in advance for your help.

2020-10-23T03:38:36.25+00:00 Thanks again Garth,, but about my question there is not a way to avoid to have a copy of the pacthes, one in the upstream server and another in the wsus site server (localy o remote)? because is not eficient and economic waste shared storage between two WSUS, I thought Microsoft had realized about this waste and had a solution.
Thanks

We could download the update on the side of an upstream WSUS, and agree with GarthJones, the update could be downloaded on the side the SCCM site not WSUS, and copied the content to the ContentLib, finally the content could be copied to the DP.
