The computer system is Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, 21H2, the computer is a touch screen, and there is no external keyboard and mouse.

When I use it, the computer can pop up the on-screen keyboard, but when I print the form to PDF, it can't pop up the on-screen keyboard when I enter the file name, and I have checked the relevant settings. How to solve it?

The application is industrial software, which runs in full screen. Can't close the program and click the keyboard in the taskbar.

    Hello there,

It may be due to how the PDF printing process interacts with the operating system's accessibility features.

When you are in the PDF application and need to use the on-screen keyboard, manually open it before entering text. This can usually be done by clicking on the Windows Start button, typing "On-Screen Keyboard" in the search bar, and selecting it from the search results. Then, use it as needed while working in the PDF application.

When printing to PDF, check the print settings in your PDF application. Some PDF applications may have settings related to accessibility and on-screen keyboard support. Ensure these settings are configured correctly.

Hope this resolves your Query !!

    Hi.

Here are some possible solutions that you can try:

    • If the industrial software does not have a windowed mode option, you can try to use the Windows key + Tab shortcut to switch to another app or the desktop, and then use the Windows key + O shortcut to open the on-screen keyboard manually. Then, you can switch back to the industrial software and use the on-screen keyboard to enter the file name.
    • Alternatively, you can try to use a voice input method instead of the on-screen keyboard. To do this, you need to enable speech recognition in Windows settings. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Speech, and turn on the toggle for Use speech recognition. Then, you can use the Windows key + H shortcut to start dictating text whenever you need to enter a file name or other text.

    Hope the information is helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
