Hello

Three weeks ago, I was upgrading my SSAS environment from SSAS 2012 R2 witch sets on 2012 servers.

to SSAS 2019 sitting on 2019 servers.

since then and Untill now we are facing big performance issue. most of the cube process cannot be finish.

little cube and after restart the Servies finish the process action but large and complex cube with lots of partitions and lots of calculated members just run forever and never finished.

we try everything from configure the general properties differently and running preform and ssisdiag in order

to find anything witch will point the problem.

Does anyone was facing this kind of problem and can share with the solution?

Thanks in advanced.

    Hello

Is this SSAS multidimensional or tabular? Have you tried redeploying the cube ?

Which is the error message ? Timeout ?

    Regards

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

Has the version of SQL Server and SSAS updated to 2019? Performance problems may arise for a variety of reasons. However, Extended Events is a lightweight performance monitoring and tracing system that consumes very little system resources. I advise you to conduct some additional research using other Monitoring tools, such as Performance counters. For more information, please see Monitoring tools.
