Why my Git Clone Repository in Visual Studio 2022 for Mac is stack on cloning

Hello,
I started to use Visual Studio for Mac a month ago and I want now to start working with Github for source control.
I am trying to Clone Repository from github but the cloning window is stack and does not finish.
I checked the local folder and it was created but it is empty.
Please note that I use my github account to login to Visual Studio, and in addition and I am able to use the GitHub Desktop without any problem.
I tried looking for similar issues and solutions in the internet but nothing worked for me.
Please help.
