Logging into AAD joined devices

Hi All,

I wondered if there is a way for users in my organization to log into AAD-joined devices using only their usernames as if they were using a workstation on our on-prem AD. At the moment users on AAD machines have to log in using their ******@DomainName.com. Is there something that I have missed relating to this?

    @Ashton Johnston

    Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A.

    As of now there is no option for user to login to Azure AD joined devices with their usernames as there on-premises.

    User have to login to AAD joined devices with username in format of AzureAD**@osrj.si.

    However, you can submit the feedback in Azure feedback portal.

    Only if the devices are Hybrid-joined, as detailed here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/mdm/policy-csp-authentication#preferredaadtenantdomainname

    Specifies the preferred domain among available domains in the Azure AD tenant. Example: If your organization is using the "@contoso.com" tenant domain name, the policy value should be "contoso.com". For the user "******@constoso.com", a sign in is done using "abby" in the username field instead of "******@contoso.com".
