diffpatterns no rows to show

I am trying to use diffpatterns plugin in my datset https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-explorer/kusto/query/diffpatternsplugin, but the query result shows "No Rows To Show",

when I replace the evaluate diffpatterns with sample, it's showing a table as expected. I am wondering how to debug this issue?
