Error message when Updating firewall rules

Hello,

I have a customer that is getting the error message below when trying to update FW rules from the portal. What could be causing this? I see no errors on their backend.

As there are no errors observed in the backend, can you please ask the customer to run Get-AzIpGroup and Set-AzIpGroup commands and see if that helps in resolving the issue?

If this does not help, can you please ask the customer to share the update they are performing on FW rules? any miss-configuration can also cause this issue.

Based on our internal communication.

Sharing the solution achieved here for community benefit.

The customer was unable to update the firewall rules as they had a Resource lock applied to their resource. The customer was able to update the firewall rule after removing the resource lock.
