Earlier today, on the latest Windows Insider Build, I had a sudden crash while browsing the web (BSOD but green). An error was shown with the file that crashed windows but I couldn't get the info fast enough. But after the crash, I booted my PC back up only to realize my Bluetooth is gone completely. I checked device manager only to see the Bluetooth device was gone. Nothing showed up on hidden devices either. I've already looked in windows update, and tried downloading the Intel Wireless Bluetooth drivers, and I've had no luck. Mainly my question is, would there be a way to restore my Bluetooth manually? Such as downloading drivers or an application? Or maybe doing a clean install would fix it? I would just like more info before I do anything serious.

    Hello

When files are missing or corrupted on Windows, you can use DISM and SFC command tools to check system files:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/using-system-file-checker-in-windows-365e0031-36b1-6031-f804-8fd86e0ef4ca

Or enter safe mode to check if the bluetooth device exists:

    https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-sg/000124344/how-to-boot-to-safe-mode-in-windows-10

If you can see the bluetooth device in safe mode, try a clean boot:

    https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-sg/000102564/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-10-to-troubleshoot-software-conflicts

If none of these solutions work, a clean install of Windows might fix the issue, but it’s a more drastic solution that will erase all your personal data and installed programs. Make sure to back up all important data before proceeding with a clean install.
