Edge shows policy as ignored

Hey guys,

we have enabled IE Mode for Edge via GPO, which works pretty fine on most of our computers but now one of them seems to have a problem. The user has to manually activate IE mode for the sitelist, which he has to do every 30 days (or 90 if I set the expiration GPO to activated, it is deactivated currently)....

When we look at Edge://policy we can see both policies but as state it says "ignored" for some reason....

Usually and on other Computers it just says "OK" and the policy seems to work.

Is there any way to find out why the state is "ignored" and to change it ?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Gaida, Marvin ,

What edge version are you using? Has your edge been updated recently?

After upgrading to Edge 116, rather a new feature coming to Edge 116, where some work browser policies aren't available for the Enterprise personal browser (MSA profile, profile that is connecting to an MSA/personal account). These work browser policies include "InternetExplorerIntegrationLevel" and "InternetExplorerIntegrationSiteList". You can refer to Policy filters for the Enterprise personal browser for more information.

To avoid this, you can choose to use Work profiles. Or you can use local site list to stay in IE mode.

You can also share your feedback on this new feature. To send feedback in Microsoft Edge, please press Alt+Shift+I. We would value your feedback. Thanks for your understanding.

    Regards,

    Wenying Lu

We faced this issue too. Removing the personal profile in Edge or switch to Work profile did the job.

Remove the Personal profile (signed in to personal outlook) or use a separate profile.

Same issue here. We are logged in with a work account, nt a personal.

Policies are available when checking edge://policy but Edge is completely ignoring them.

Staff is able to install any extension, save passwords in the browser and do whatever they want with it

We are using Microsoft Edge for Business Version 123.0.2420.65 (Official build) (64-bit) + Edge update 1.3
