No account settings were returned from the Autodiscover response.

Hi,

I've setup a (non-Windows) server with autodiscover capabilities, however the Outlook Connectivity test is giving me the following error:

I've checked that the response from https://contoso.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml returns 404, and I tested returning an XML document from https://autodiscover.contoso.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml, or use a SRV record to return the same XML on another root domain. The connectivity test correctly picks up the XML document and the content looks valid to me. Using the Test E-mail AutoConfiguration capability from Outlook it correctly retrieves the account settings as well. However, somehow it says that no account settings were returned, neither does Outlook use the correct settings. What is wrong?

Output shown in connectivity test (replaced MX domain by contoso.com). Note that the email domain is different from the IMAP/POP3/SMTP server, and I support only the SSL versions of those protocols.

Additionally, running the Office 365 Outlook connectivity test gives me SSL errors while this passes in the test above, and I have all modern TLS versions and ciphers enabled!
