Seeking Location of My Azure OpenAI Chat History

I'm looking for information on how to access my Azure OpenAI chat history.

Specifically, I'd like to know if it's possible to view the entire chat log of my Azure OpenAI chatbot through the Azure portal.

If anyone can provide assistance, please share the relevant details.

Note

I am utilizing the default deployed chatbot provided by Microsoft in the Chat Playground, which involves interacting with Azure OpenAI models using my own data

I am actively utilizing the chatbot on the Azure App Service. Moreover,

I am interested in accessing my complete chat history from the time I initially began using the chatbot.

Hi @Syedbabar Ali thanks for the update. when did you start using the chatbot on the Azure App Service? I don't believe the feature for accessing the complete chat history from the time you initially began using the chatbot but I will check with the engineering team and get back to you.

@Syedbabar Ali Yes, it is possible to view the entire chat log of your Azure OpenAI chatbot through the Azure portal. If you want to access the chat history for a new session, follow these steps:

Open the Azure portal and navigate to your Azure OpenAI resource.

Click on the "Channels" tab.

Click on the "Test in Web Chat" button to open the Chat Playground.

Interact with your chatbot in the Chat Playground.

After the chat session is complete, click on the "Download transcript" button to download the chat log as a JSON file.

Open the JSON file to view the chat log.

Please keep in mind that the chat log will only include the messages sent and received during the current chat session. If you want to view the chat history for previous chat sessions, you will need to download the transcripts for each session separately.

I am currently unable to locate the 'Channels' tab within the Azure portal under the Azure OpenAI resource.
