Availability + scaling option has no option my Azure VM

Question

i am using a Azure SQL VM (Standard E8-4s v3 (4 vcpus, 64 GiB memory))
i want to set autoscaling on my VM, but when i go to the Availability + scaling section in Settings it shows

As it has no option to select, i am using this VM as Production and need scaling.

This option will be available when your VMs are Virtual Machine Scale Set or in AvailabilitySet.

For the single/individual VMs , you won't be able to do any scaling !
