What are the requirements for recalling emails?


I clicked to recall, but the recall was not successful. Others can still see the email.

    To successfully recall a sent message, please check that the following requirements are met:

    • The recipient/sender must have a Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Exchange email account in the same organization. So, for example, a message sent to or from a Hotmail, Gmail, or live.com account can't be recalled.
    • The recipient didn't open the read message or read it with the flag unread.
    • Messages cannot be recalled in Outlook on the web.
    • Messages must not be protected by Azure Information.
