To successfully recall a sent message, please check that the following requirements are met:
- The recipient/sender must have a Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Exchange email account in the same organization. So, for example, a message sent to or from a Hotmail, Gmail, or live.com account can't be recalled.
- The recipient didn't open the read message or read it with the flag unread.
- Messages cannot be recalled in Outlook on the web.
- Messages must not be protected by Azure Information.
