Windows 11 Proxy settings http:// cannot be removed

Question

I have a Windows 11 Laptop. The company needs to use Proxy settings in the company. For some unbeknown reason the proxy settings in Internet Options showing http://192.168.1.250 and in the New Windows 11 Control Panel it only shows 192.168.1.250 without http:// which prevent communication to the internet through the proxy server.

Even if I manually remove the http://, it gets automatically put back.

I have tried removing all setting in the registry to do with the proxy.

I have tried to put in place these registry settings below. Still (http://) cannot be removed.

The laptop has AVAST installed, I've even uninstalled it, which didn't help

It seems that there is some malware attack on your pc, and virsu has entered in your PC files.

I will recommend you to please make a soft reset to the pc

for that

To reset Windows 10/11 keeping files, open Settings > Update & Security > Recovery, click “Get started” for “Reset this PC,” choose “Keep my files,” select the “local” reinstall, click “Next,” and “Reset.”
