Hello,

we are using Azure and we have a Azure Premium P1 licence.

We tried to use Event Hubs and Resource Groups, but we got this screen.

How can we activate and use Event Hubs? Are they not included in Azure Portal with Premium P1 licence?

Thanks.

Leon

@ALP Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and thanks for reaching out here.

I'm assuming that there is a confusion between Azure AAD license and Azure Pay as you go subscription.

Azure AAD (Azure Active Directory) license and Azure Pay as you go subscription are two different offerings from Microsoft Azure with different purposes and features.

Azure AAD license is a subscription-based service that provides identity and access management for cloud-based applications and services. It allows you to manage user identities and access to resources in a centralized manner, and provides features such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access policies. Azure AAD license is primarily used for managing user identities and access to cloud-based applications and services.

Azure Pay as you go subscription, on the other hand, is a flexible and scalable pricing model for using Azure services. It allows you to pay only for the resources you use, without any upfront costs or long-term commitments. With Azure Pay as you go subscription, you can use a wide range of Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage, databases, and analytics, to build and deploy your applications and services.

If you are planning to create azure services, you will have to create a pay-as you go subscription (you can also create a free trial subscription, but it allows only few services that can be created) within which you will be able to create desired Azure resources as needed. In case if you like you create Azure event hub resource then you can follow this tutorial once after creating pay-as you go subscription. - Quickstart: Create an event hub using Azure portal

Hope this info helps. In case if you already have a pay-as you go Azure subscription, but still unable to create Azure Eventhub resource, then please let me know.

    Thank you
