Highlighting differences between major and minor pending changes in Excel workbook using Office Scripts

I am currently working on a sharepoint site that would streamline our approvals process. I need to find a way to highlight the differences between a minor version submitted for approval and the most recent major revision using Office Scripts. Can anyone provide some guidance on how to accomplish this?
