I see most of the virtual machines in non compliant status.

What is the action we should take to make it compliant?

and if it is upgrade patches, just we need to log in to vm and search for update from start bar and then click on install , will this make sure install latest patches?

    Hi @sns

If you see that most of the virtual machines are in a non-compliant status, it is likely that they are missing important security updates or patches.

To make the virtual machines compliant, you should ensure that they have the latest security updates and patches installed.

You can do this by following these steps:

    1. Check for available updates: Log in to each virtual machine and check for available updates. You can do this by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. Click on "Check for updates" to see if there are any available updates.
    2. Install available updates: If there are available updates, click on "Install updates" to install them. Make sure to restart the virtual machine if prompted to do so.
    3. Configure automatic updates: To ensure that the virtual machines stay up-to-date with the latest security updates and patches, you should configure automatic updates. You can do this by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced options. Under "Choose how updates are installed", select "Automatic (recommended)".

It is important to keep your virtual machines up-to-date with the latest security updates and patches to ensure that they are protected against known vulnerabilities and threats.

Regarding your question about upgrading patches, logging in to the virtual machine and searching for updates from the start bar is one way to check for available updates. However, it is recommended to configure automatic updates to ensure that the virtual machines stay up-to-date with the latest security updates and patches.

If this does answer your question, please accept it as the answer as a token of appreciation.
